I’m a retired general building contractor. As such, I set the bar pretty high when working with other contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ohana Stairlifts didn’t disappoint me. A 10:00 AM appointment was scheduled for the installation of a chair lift at my residence. Accessibility Technician Patrick arrived promptly at the scheduled time and worked diligently until the installation was completed. His briefing on the use of the chair lift was thorough and complete.

Patrick Estipona came to replace the battery in my stairlift and informed me on how to check on the battery so that I could find out if I needed to replace the battery. He was extremely efficient and the replacement was done quickly.
We had the stairlift installed about 3 years ago. It quick working so I called Patrick since I have his name card. Knowing how busy he is (and I too had a few scheduled appointments) he made every effort to set up an appointment. Patrick was always quick in getting back to me. He also took the time explaining how to care for the stairlift. He made me feel very comfortable. He's a kind and caring person with good customer service.

We had what we thought were issues with my Father's Stairlift that was installed back in 2022 and Main Technician (Patrick Estipona) came out to service the chair within the second day of calling him. He would have came out sooner but was on the outer island. Once he arrived made him check out the chair and thought to myself oh god this is like when you take your car in for service cause it's making a noise but when they check it it's fine. (Lol) Thank goodness motor just needed a little lubrication which financially was music to our ears. Patrick is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and is very friendly!!

Our Stairlift Chair was not working. I reached out to Patrick who was finishing up his work with another client. Patrick quickly directed me to the area he suspected was the problem and then guided us via FaceTime on how to fix the problem. Great job Patrick. Mahalo

I was referred to Ohana Stairlift for troubleshooting why my parents stairlift suddenly stopped working after not using it for a year. Patrick was very responsive to my message and patiently guided me (and my family) through the process of checking different parts on the unit over the phone. He was very upfront and honest with me and gave me a quote if he were to drive down to the house to check something he felt was a simple fix that could be resolved on our own. In the end, he helped us to discover little objects obstructing the track in a hidden spot, and that we needed a new battery.

My 10-year old Harmar lift stopped working for unknown reasons. The people who sold us this house left an installation manual with a bunch of phone numbers on it, but that's all. You gave me good information over two phone calls, and I finally made an appointment.
Your guys arrived exactly on time, were efficient gentlemen, and got the job done. I hope that my hovering to watch what was happening didn't bother them. They answered all my questions happily and they clearly knew what they were doing.

Update: needed some adjustment (a normal thing) and Patrick cane over and resolved the issue quickly. Had to leave the house and trusted him to take care of everything. Really appreciate the company’s trustworthiness and excellent service.

Ohana Stairlifts installed our stairlift today. They were very professional and helpful helping us choose an appropriate stairlift. Their technician did a superb job of installing and demonstrating use of the stairlift, he was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had.

So, wife’s in rehab, doing great. Suddenly, no prior warning, she’s coming home in 3 days. Vendors we’re talking to about a stairlift all quote long shipping delays from mainland to Hawaii. But Ohana has a warehouse right in Honolulu, everything in stock, and great local references . A handshake with Mike over the phone, and the installer Patrick is on a plane to our island of Maui the next morning, job completed neatly, professionally, and all cleaned up before lunchtime. And Ohana beat the competition’s quotes by better than 30%, with top-grade equipment. You know what they say. Buy local! Deal with real folks, not corporations! Couldn’t be happier.

I have been a customer of Ohana Stairlift for about 10 years. The owner, Mike, is so nice. He really cares about people and has a real soft spot for Vererans and Kupuna. There were a few times I called for emergency help and he always managed to work his magic by squeezing us into the schedule. He also once put in a shower cut out for us and other contractors were always impressed with the quality of workmanship. They even snuck pictures of it! Patrick has responded to our occasional calls and you will not meet a nicer young man. Aside from his extensive knowledge, he really goes over and beyond to promote our safety and longevity of equipment. Plus is he a really great explainer by pointing out parts in need of routine replacement and he has a really nice personality too! You can tell he is very humble. I cannot say enough nice things about this company. It is important work they do and they take it very seriously yet always manage to remember we are people and not just customers.
