Ohana Stairlifts · Hawaiʻi care professionals

Help your clients keep enjoying the home they love.

When stairs become a barrier, families need practical answers and someone local to call. Ohana helps home-care teams, therapists, case managers, and discharge planners explore stairlift options with their clients and families.

A practical resource for your team

Support for the next step at home.

Home-care teams

When a client has difficulty reaching an upstairs room or getting through the front entrance, we can explain stairlift options and review the stairway with the family.

OTs and PTs

Bring your recommendations about the person’s mobility and daily routine. We contribute product information, stairway measurements, and installation planning.

Care managers and discharge teams

Tell us the island and the family’s target timing. We will confirm equipment availability and scheduling so the family can plan the next steps.

Your clinical team guides the person’s care and suitability for using a stairlift. Ohana focuses on the equipment, its fit in the home, installation, and operation.

From introduction to installation

A clear path for families and professionals.

01 · START A CONVERSATION

Tell us what is needed.

Call with your professional contact information, the island, and a general description of the stairs. With the family’s permission, we can arrange the next conversation together.

02 · REVIEW THE STAIRS

Understand the options.

We review the stairway, landings, indoor or outdoor setting, and equipment choices. We can discuss your team’s recommendations with the family.

03 · PLAN THE NEXT STEP

Confirm the fit and timing.

We explain the proposed equipment and installation schedule before the family decides. Installation includes instruction on using the lift, with service available for the brands we sell.

Local products. Local people to call.

Our team is based in Kailua, with stairlift products on Oʻahu to support prompt installations when the right model is available. Custom rails, the staircase configuration, and island scheduling affect timing—we confirm those details for each home.

We offer straight, curved, and outdoor stairlifts. Our service and maintenance cover the stairlift brands we sell.

Questions from care professionals

Can a family contact you directly?

Yes. Families can call us directly to discuss their stairs and options. A professional referral is not required to begin that conversation.

Can we discuss a home before a planned discharge?

Yes. Share the target timing and general stairway needs. We will check what is possible; equipment availability and installation timing must be confirmed before including a lift in the family’s discharge plans.

Do you service other stairlift brands?

We provide service and maintenance for the brands we sell. Call with the make and model so we can confirm whether we can help.

What should I include in an initial inquiry?

Your name, organization, work phone or email, the island, and a general description of the stairway are enough to start. Please do not send medical records or sensitive client information through the general website form or email. We can discuss any additional information needed by phone.
