A slim modular rail
Precisely engineered rail sections form a route around your staircase. The single rail measures just 2⅜ inches in diameter, creating a compact appearance through turns and landings.
Powered footrest, standard
Fold the footrest without bending down. The seat, armrests, and footrest fold up when the lift is parked to leave more room for others using the stairs.
Controls within reach
An ergonomic joystick operates the lift. The armrest dashboard shows lift status and battery level, and wireless call/send controls bring the chair to your floor.

Turns, intermediate landings, and spiral layouts need a rail planned for their route. Otolift’s modular system can follow the inside or outside bend of the stairs, with start and finish options to suit the available space.
The rail supports attach directly to the steps. Ohana will assess stair width, headroom, doorways, landing space, and the rider’s needs before recommending a configuration.
Optional powered swivel
The powered swivel upgrade turns the chair using the joystick. It also enables reverse-drive configurations that can help negotiate tighter stairways, where the survey confirms a suitable fit.

The Modul-Air Smart is designed for curved staircases. Its modular rail can follow turns and landings, including some spiral layouts. A staircase survey determines the fit and configuration for your home.
Can it fit a narrow staircase?
The slim rail and folding chair help conserve space. The optional powered swivel and reverse-drive configuration may help with tighter layouts. Ohana must check the stair width, headroom, and rider’s needs before confirming suitability.
Does the footrest fold automatically?
A powered folding footrest is standard, so you do not need to bend down to raise or lower it.
Will the stairlift work during a power outage?
The lift runs on batteries and can continue operating while sufficient charge remains. The number of trips depends on battery condition, charge, rider weight, and the staircase. Charging requires power.
